The data path to RAM is 32 bit wide in the case of i80386DX and Am386DX, while it is only 16 bit wide in the case of i80386SX and Am386SX. The maximum addressable operating memory is 1 MByte (in real address mode), or 1 GByte (in protected virtual mode). External cache memory and mathematical co-processor can be applied ( i80387DX, AMD387DX, x87DLC). Possible frequencies are: 15-20-25-33-40 MHz.
