Improvements and Optimisation of Fluxset Sensor used for DC to Medium Frequency Magnetic Field Measurements and NDT Eddy Current Testing

In this paper the application possibilities of fluxset type magnetic field sensor are discussed. The improvements of the sensor and the measuring system from DC to medium frequency AC applications are outlined. Experimental results related to eddy current testing (ECT) measurement is presented. The operational principle of the fluxset sensor is discussed highlighting its capabilities for the measurement of DC, AC and time-dependent magnetic fields. We have developed simple driving and measuring circuits for the magnetic detector.
