Report: Douglas, Zeta-Jones to Wed Sept 30
LONDON (Reuters) - Actor Michael Douglas and his fiancee
Catherine Zeta-Jones are planning a beachfront wedding in
California's Santa Barbara on September 30, Britain's Sun
newspaper said on Thursday.
Douglas and Welsh-born Zeta-Jones have chosen a luxury
78-acre holiday complex as the venue for their wedding, just
weeks after the actress gave birth to their son Dylan on August
The British tabloid said the wedding venue will be the
Spanish-style Bacara Resort and Spa, with an 11,300 square foot
ballroom and a private beach overlooking the Pacific Ocean.

``Catherine and Michael are thrilled about the wedding.
Little Dylan has come along and is a beautiful baby. They are
both ecstatic,'' an unnamed source told the Sun.
``Dylan is a good baby but it is tiring with a new-born and
both Catherine and Michael have been up in the night with him.
``But Catherine still looks radiant, despite the sleepless
nights and is working hard at getting her figure back in time
for the wedding.''
The resort, where the couple will stay in the 3,500 pounds
a night presidential suite, is just miles away from Douglas's
former marital home with ex-wife Diandra.
The two stars met at the Deauville Film Festival in France
in August 1998, began dating in March 1999 and got engaged on
New Year's Eve. Douglas, son of Hollywood veteran Kirk Douglas,
has starred in box office hits including Fatal Attraction and
Zeta Jones, who started her career in the British
television series the Darling Buds of May, went on to carve a
