Catherine Zeta-Jones is heavy with child
Catherine Zeta fell into favour with dieticians for her weight gain during her second pregnancy, the London Evening Standard has reported. According to the report, Catherine vowed to stay slimmer during her second pregnancy after picking up 22.68 kilograms while pregnant with her first child, Dylan, two years ago.
However, the Welsh beauty, who is due to give birth in March, admitted on the David Letterman show that she has already gained 19.5 kilograms and that she is no longer able to touch her toes.
But according to Dr. Wendy Doyle of the British Dietetics Association, this is a good sign. “It shows Catherine is more concerned about the well-being of her unborn child than about a bit of weight gain.”
However, the website said that the weight gain could be attributed to a fad diet that Zeta-Jones followed in order to lose weight for her role as the murderess Velma Kelly in the newly released musical ‘Chicago’.
Said Doyle about fad diets: “It affects your metabolism and makes you put on weight even more quickly when you start eating properly.”
