Douglas-Jones may face the footlights in London

London, Feb 25 (ANI): There is a buzz that senior Hollywood actor Michael Douglas and his actress wife Catherine Zeta-Jones have considered a two million pound contract to appear on stage in London's West End.

In what can be termed as an ironic twist following their high-profile maximum-coverage bid to be allowed to live as normal folk do, the duo are rumoured to be considering treading the boards in Noel Coward's Private Lives, according to a report in People News.

An anonymous producer has approached several investors to back a play in which the couple was involved.

The play is a satire on how people become addicted to the trivialities of their public personas and revolves around a divorced couple, indolent and rich, who marry again and pick the same hotel for their respective honeymoons.

Zeta-Jones' management were aware of the rumoured West End appearance but declined to comment. (ANI)
