Douglas brushes up on basketball skills

With Catherine Zeta-Jones expecting their second baby, Michael Douglas is brushing up on his basketball skills as he prepares to go back to work.

He is to star in the romantic comedy As Told which he will play a successful professional basketball coach who battles and falls in love with the ghostwriter hired to help him with his autobiography.

The former coach of the Los Angeles Lakers basketball team, Pat Riley, has been hired as a consultant to help Douglas look the part but his female co-star has not yet been announced.

Douglas plans to keep working, according to Daily Variety, and will follow As Told To...with the political thriller The Sentinel and a remake of the 1972 thriller The Mechanic, with Douglas in the role originally played by Charles Bronson.
