RUSSELL Crowe married his long-time love Danielle Spencer, 13 years after they first met, in a fairytale sunset wedding at his Nana Glen property yesterday.
Schoolchildren, farmers and shop keepers lined the 20km route from Coffs Harbour to Russell Crowe's farm as the bridal party's dark Mercedes limousines of the bridal party sped past the lush landscape.
The couple chose traditional vows apart from a tender Apache Wedding Prayer read by each of their parents. They were married by former Bishop of Grafton Phillip Huggins,
Afterwards Crowe broke his own rule and performed with his band, 30 Odd Foot of Grunts to demonstrate how Danielle has been his long-time muse.
Guests included Ridley Scott, Shane Warne, Peter Holmes a Court, Jack Thompson, with telegrams from US President George W. Bush, Sting, Kerry Packer and Catherine Zeta-Jones.
Police car and three leather-clad bikers on Harley Davidsons led the way.
