Posh and Becks are king and queen of the column inches, a survey showed today.
New Real Madrid signing David Beckham was the most written-about celebrity in UK publications in the past six months, while wife Victoria was the top female.
They are the only couple to feature in the top 10 of the list compiled from calculations by BBC3 show Celebdaq.
Becks scored a total of 200,090 sq cms (31,013 sq ins) of space in magazines and newspapers over the first half of the year, in the stocks and shares-style show based on celebrity worth.
He is the only sportsman to make the entire top 50, with music stars the most frequently mentioned group.
Becks finished just ahead of Prince William who managed almost 190,000 (29,450 sq ins), while Posh was in third place with a little over 110,000 (17,050).
Amazingly the birth of her second child and an Oscar win failed to take Catherine Zeta Jones ahead of Liz Hurley, who has featured in most publications this year mainly because she is famous.
Hurley has appeared in no new movies so far this year and her last film Serving Sara went straight to video.
Series Producer Chris Wilson said the inaugural Celebdaq report was “set to become the definitive indicator of celebrity obsession”.
“The report quantifies fame and reveals who really are the most written about celebrities in Britain today,” he said.
