Zeta off to Bermuda ...via Swansea

Aug 5 2003

Daily Post

HOLLYWOOD glamour couple Catherine Zeta Jones and Michael Douglas have left for Bermuda after spending a weekend break with family and friends in Wales.

The stars visited a familiar haunt on a trip to Swansea at the weekend at a Spanish restaurant in the city.

They looked happy as they enjoyed a meal with family and friends at La Braseria restaurant in Wind Street.

The restaurant's manager, who gave his name as Manuel, described the pair as "a very nice couple".

He said that Catherine, 33, would visit the restaurant regularly before her trip to America.

The couple, who already have homes in Los Angeles, Bermuda, Majorca, New York and Aspen are also having a luxury home built in Swansea.

A man answering calls at the home of Catherine's parents Dai and Pat said the couple had gone to Bermuda.

He said they would not be returning to celebrate their son Dylan's third birthday on August 8.

The pair were reported to be staying at the luxury Morgans hotel in Swansea. But a receptionist at Morgans would not confirm whether or not they had been there.
