Pitt returns for Jolie

Pitt knows a Jolie fine woman when he sees one
When Nicole Kidman dropped out of filming Mr and Mrs Smith, Brad Pitt nearly walked away, until he heard that scrumptious Angelina Jolie had signed up and he came running back faster than Sebastian Coe.

Way back in July, MegaStar reported that Catherine Zeta-Jones was extremely keen to bag the role and work with the lovely Pitt, but at the time producers of the film were still busy trying to juggle production around Kidman's workload.

The Australian actress is currently filming Baz Luhrmann's version of Alexander the Great opposite Leonardo DiCaprio.

Mr and Mrs Smith, by first-time writer Simon Kinberg, is a story of a bored married couple who discover they are both assassins who have been hired to kill each other.

But don't fret about dear old Catherine. She'll be working alongside Jolie's ex, Billy Bob Thornton in Intolerable Cruelty.

She also teams up with Hollywood hunk, George Clooney in the modern-day dark romantic comedy from the Coen Brothers, which also stars Geoffrey Rush.

The film is about a successful LA divorce attorney, Miles Massey (Clooney), who is seeking new challenges. When he meets the frequently divorced Marilyn Rexroth (Zeta-Jones), a tough woman pursuing financial independence through "serial matrimony", the two go head-to-head.

Lets hope it's not an omen for your future, Catherine.
