'Intolerable Cruelty'

The premiere of "Intolerable Cruelty" was the scene Tuesday night as George Clooney and Catherine Zeta-Jones did something they've never done before - open a movie together.

With critics comparing their screen chemistry to that of Spencer Tracy and Katharine Hepburn, Clooney had reason to be in a playful mood. He says, "I'm old. I quit. But I get to hang out with Catherine and that is nice."

And Clooney says he didn’t mind kissing his costar either. He says, "It was hard. You can't imagine how difficult it was. Every morning you get up, and she's like, ‘Let's rehearse the love scene.’ I'm like, ‘Catherine come on let it go.’"

Zeta-Jones, however, begs to differ. She says, "No, he asked me all the time to come to his trailer to practice but I said, ‘Look I'm a married woman with a kid.’"

Zeta-Jones, who recently celebrated a birthday, revealed to "Extra" how she celebrated. She says, "I danced all night with Danny De Vito and my husband."

Clooney says there was one thing about Zeta-Jones that he just couldn’t tolerate—her Academy Award. He says, "She would bring it out when you're working with her and shows it off. She puts it right above the camera when you're trying to do a scene with her."

Zeta-Jones also disagreed on this account. She says, "No, I did not. He's just mean and cruel. He's completely perfectly cast in this movie. He's intolerable. That's not true. But if he wanted me to bring it, I would have."
