 Ananova:
Catherine Zeta Jones says she will never divorce

Catherine Zeta Jones says she will never divorce Michael Douglas because it is in her genes to stay married for life.

The 34-year-old told Austrian magazine Woman: "I find divorces repulsive. I will never get divorced, never."

When asked how she could be so sure, the actress replied: "I grew up in a small, strictly catholic fishing village on the coast of Wales. The people there have a different attitude to life than those in Hollywood - people stick together more."

And she added that this attitude was still part of her, despite the fact that her life had now completely changed.

"It's in the genes. Look at other stars who have come from my area: Tom Jones has been married to his Linda for 47 years... and Richard Burton never really got over Elizabeth Taylor."

The star, who has a son Dylan, 2, and a daughter Carys, six months, also said she managed to be a mother and career woman at the same time by not expecting too much from herself.

She said: "I allow myself to not feel the need to be some sort of wonder woman. You can't do everything at once and tear your hair out when you miss your baby using a potty for the first time. Although my son was obviously very sad that his mum was not there on his big day."
