OK magazine, which had an exclusive deal with the couple, was awarded £1,033,156.
Lawyers acting for the Hollywood stars hailed the award as "historic" and said they would be giving the money to the Family Learning Centre.
Hello! said it was "very happy" with the sum awarded to the Douglases, who had asked for £600,000.
But it said it was disappointed by the £1m-plus award to OK! and would appeal against that part of the judgement.
In April, Mr Justice Lindsay ruled that Hello! had breached the pair's rights of confidence.
Ms Zeta Jones and Mr Douglas were married in New York's Plaza Hotel in Novemebr 2000.
During the original hearing the 33-year-old actress said she felt "devastated, shocked and appalled" when she realised the paparazzi had gatecrashed the event.
Mr Douglas, 58, also complained that many of the Hello! pictures were unflattering.
The judge said getting married was an exceptional event for any bride and groom.
The fact that the individuals concerned were celebrities did not lessen their right to complain about intrusion.
