Revealed - top earners from Wales

A HOST of Welsh stars feature in a list of top 2003 showbiz earners published by celebrity magazine OK!.

The top Welsh earner of all, at No 5 in the list, is actor Sir Anthony Hopkins who banked a cool £18m.

Mold's Jonny Buckland is at No 11 having helped his band Coldplay to a share of £12m last year. The award-winning band charted at No 4 in a separate list of Top Youngsters.

Catherine Zeta Jones has dropped 13 places to No 20 in the 2003 chart.

Tom Jones is at No 40, up from 52, while maths genius Carol Vorderman proves that she's a top totter after earning £3.4m.

Solfach's own David Gray is at No 49 with £3m while Bangor's king of the decks Sasha earned a cool £2.1m.

But the UK's top earners of them all are veteran rockers Sir Mick Jagger, Sir Paul McCartney and the Osbournes.

The Rolling Stone stay clinched the No 1 spot having earned a staggering £65m last year. The Osbournes earned £30m and Sir Paul £25m.
