BRITNEY'S ARDEN WORK
BRITNEY SPEARS has signed a deal with Elizabeth Arden to produce fragrances, make-up and skincare. The pop princess, who has managed to revive her career with a hit single after floundering in the aftermath of splitting from Justin Timberlake, will launch her first fragrance in the US this autumn. Arden, who has Catherine Zeta-Jones as its major advertising 'face', sees Britney as a key signing, according to Women's Wear Daily. "We are delighted to be working with Britney Spears," said Paul West, president of the cosmetics giant. "She is a talented, fashionable woman who appeals to a young and international consumer base. Together with our department store trade partners, we will introduce a glamorous fragrance concept to the US market in the fall and we look forward to the launch of the new brand."
