Star alongside Peter

OPEN auditions will be held to give people the opportunity to perform alongside an internationally known theatre star when Peter Karrie comes to Bangor for the first time on Saturday, September 18 and performs at the Bangor's Theatr Gwynedd for one night only.

Peter Karrie and Friends is a unique show which includes performances from stars who played lead roles in the major musicals - and now there is an opportunity for you to join them on stage.

It gives audiences a night of musical magic and an insight into the usually mysterious back-stage atmosphere of some of the world's most prestigious venues.

For those of you who might not have seen or heard Peter Karrie before you are in for a real treat.

He has recently celebrated 25 years playing the lead roles in the West End, starring in Phantom of the Opera, Les Miserables, Chess, Evita, and Jesus Christ Superstar.

He is an international TV, radio and musical theatre performer and he is undoubtedly one of the world's top

Peter has starred in over 2,500 performances of his internationally acclaimed role as The Phantom of the Opera in London's West End, Canada, Singapore and Hong Kong as well as on the highly prestigious Millennium Tour.

Once you have heard Peter sing you will never forget his voice, and his unique talent has earned him a worldwide reputation as "The World's Most Popular Phantom".

Lord Andrew Lloyd Webber recently said that his own dream ticket for the show would star Peter as the Phantom and Catherine Zeta Jones as Christine.

As a keen supporter of charity Peter will also be helping the charity Bobath, which helps handicapped children, with his performances of Peter Karrie and Friends. * If you would like to perform in the show, first of all decide on your talent.

You then need to go to Theatr Gwynedd on Saturday, September 18 where auditions will be held at 4pm.

The audition is open to all ages and singers, dancers, and performers are welcome.

Should you decide to sing, chose a song which best suits your voice. singing talents.

Up to a 100 people may audition and one lucky winner will be chosen to appear on sage with Peter that very evening.
