CZJ explores her vulnerable side
Last updated 02 September 2004

Catherine Zeta Jones

Catherine Zeta Jones has confessed she liked exploring her vulnerable side in new movie 'The Terminal', in which she stars alongside Tom Hanks.

The actress says playing an air hostess who's unlucky in love was a joy because it was such an unusual role for her.

Catherine reckons she shares some traits with the trolley dolly:

"The vulnerability in the character was one of the things that really attracted me to her and to do it in the movie, as well as being with Steven Spielberg and Tom Hanks."

"I've never really done that or had the chance to do that on film, to be a woman who really has her heart on her sleeve."

"Stephen told me to just let it go, just show the vulnerability that I know I have but I just haven't had chance to show on screen."
