Also Monday, mobile publisher GlobalFun AB said it will publish and distribute a game based on mythical Spanish hero Zorro. "The Blade of Zorro" will be offered worldwide, and GlobalFun specifically targeting Europe and North and South America.

The game was developed by SilverBirch Studios Inc. and will be released in advance of a sequel to the Mask of Zorro movie, which is in production and will star Antonio Banderas and Catherine Zeta-Jones.

"This title combines the strength of a classic, universally known character hero and brand, with the high quality of development and production value our customers have come to expect and absolutely should expect from us," said Bertil Krumnack, GlobalFun's chief operations officer. "The brand will only be strengthened by the new Zorro movie scheduled for release in 2005."
