MICHAEL DOUGLAS and CATHERINE ZETA-JONES plan to mark their Christmas holidays with an unusual tradition - they'll strip off and swim to a statue to put a hat on it.
The Hollywood superstars will be spending the festive period in their home on the island of Bermuda, with Zeta-Jones jetting her entire family in from her native Wales for the occasion.
And once they all arrive, they'll be participating in a long-running tradition of the Douglas family.
Zeta-Jones says, "They have this weird tradition. They have a hotel in Bermuda and it's called Ariel from SHAKESPEARE's THE TEMPEST. SEWARD JOHNSON did this sculpture (of Ariel) right in the middle of the bay.
"So the family - and now my family, too - have to strip off and swim out there and put a Santa's hat on Ariel's head."
While the OSCAR-winning actress will happily participate, she insists she won't be naked.
