Zeta-Jones photo battle continues

Monday, December 13 2004, 04:48 GMT -- by Daniel Saney

Hello! magazine is appealing against a finding that their publishing photos of Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones' wedding constituted an invasion of the couple's privacy.

The magazine's appeal will begin today after it published the paparazzi-obtained wedding photos armed with the knowledge that the couple had entered into a 1m agreement with rival OK magazine giving them exclusive rights to published photos of the event.

The offending photos were taken by paparazzo Rupert Thorpe, 33, who gatecrashed the event in a dinner jacket without authorisation.

Zeta-Jones said that the use of the photos was "sleazy" and that she felt "violated" by their publication.
