Zeta-Jones Takes Holiday
Publisher HarperCollins describes Rachel's Holiday as a fictional dramatic comedy that centers around Rachel Walsh. A young Irish woman living in Manhattan with a tendency to overdo everything. Rachel's love of a good time is about to land her in the emergency room, but it will also cost her a job and the boyfriend she adores. When her family rushes her back home and checks her into the Irish version of the Betty Ford Clinic, Rachel is hopeful... maybe her treatment will consist of some time at the spa, mingling with celebrities and whatnot. Instead, she finds a lot of group therapy, which leads her, against her will, to some important self-discovery. She also finds something that all women like herself fear: a man who might actually be good for her.
Francesca Joseph (Tomorrow La Scala!) is reportedly attached to direct the adaptation from a script by Jonathan Harvey.
The lovely Mrs. Zeta-Jones Douglas most recently graced the big screen with Ocean's Twelve. She next appears in the long-awaited Zorro sequel, The Legend of Zorro. She'll also appear in director Joel Zwick's Coming Out, opposite Alan Cumming, and will star in Mimi Leder's next film, Smoke & Mirrors.
