Zeta-Jones, Robbins to get Hasty Pudding awards
By Inside Track
Thursday, February 3, 2005Catherine Zeta-Jones and Tim Robbins may need to bust out some acceptance speeches after all.
Though they're not on the Academy Awards radar screen this year, the comely Catherine and fellow thespian Tim - shown receiving his Oscar last year from her - have been awarded this year's annual Hasty Pudding from Harvard University's Hasty Pudding Theatricals.
The country's oldest undergrad drama group doles out the awards each year to those brave and histrionic souls who have made ``a lasting and impressive contribution to the world of entertainment.''
To kick-off the festivities on Feb. 10, Zeta-Jones, who won a Best Supporting Actress Academy Award for ``Chicago,'' will parade through Harvard Square accompanied by Harvard students dressed in drag.
On Feb. 17, Robbins, who took home a best supporting actor Oscar for the set-in-Massachusetts ``Mystic River'' last year, will appear at the opening-night performance of ``Terms of Frontierment.''
Last year's honorees were Sandra Bullock and Robert Downey Jr.
