Rain Cancels Hasty Pudding Parade

Zeta-Jones To Appear For Photo Opportunity

Catherine Zeta-Jones didn't get the traditional parade through the streets of Cambridge, but she's still getting feted Thursday as this year's winner of the Hasty Pudding Award. The planned parade by Harvard University's undergraduate drama club - that nation's oldest which hands out the awards to a male and female celebrity each year -- was canceled because of the rain.

Instead, Zeta-Jones and a bunch of students dressed in drag waved to fans from the porch of the Hasty Pudding Theater. Wearing a black pantsuit and white shirt, she joked that she felt underdressed.

Zeta-Jones was named Woman of the Year by Hasty Pudding last week. Actor Tim Robbins was named Man of the Year and is scheduled to appear next week at the opening night performance of "Terms of Frontierment."
