Zeta finds Tex appeal

Mar 27 2005

Nathan Bevan, Wales on Sunday

MUMBLES megastar Catherine Zeta Jones is reportedly the first to sign on the dotted line for a lead role in the big screen version of Dallas.

The Oscar-winner is thought to be considering the part of boozy put-upon Pam Ewing, originally played by Linda Gray in the frothy soap about warring Texan oil tycoons.

The show was a huge hit in the UK during the 80s, reaching peak viewing figures of 20m for the infamous Who Shot JR? episode.
