No 'Dallas' role for Zeta Jones

London, England, Mar. 31 (UPI) -- Welsh-born actress Catherine Zeta-Jones says she has no intention of playing Pamela Ewing in an upcoming movie version of the "Dallas" TV series.

Zeta-Jones, an Oscar winner who had been rumored as the top choice to play the glamorous and warm-hearted Texas matron, denied reports she had accepted the role, the Western Mail said Thursday.

"There is absolutely no truth to the story regarding me doing the 'Dallas' film," she said through her publicist. "Please will you set the record straight for me?"
