CZJ a winner's icon

THE winner of Make Me a Supermodel said that Catherine Zeta-Jones was her style icon as she prepared for life in the fast lane on the catwalks of the world.

A-level student Alice Sinclair, pictured below with Rachel Hunter, who was set to take up a place studying development geography at the London School of Economics in September before winning the competition, cited the Welsh beauty has her inspiration.

Now she is going to take time out from her studies to pursue her new career.

Alice, 18, from Pinner, West London, added, "I've always been a bit gangly and a bit weird looking, and a few people had said to me, 'You should try modelling'.

"I really wanted to take a gap year and travel but I knew I'd need to earn some money first.

"One day I went into the Select agency and they told me about the competition. They were having auditions the next day, so I went along after school in my uniform. Next thing I know, here I am."
