CATHERINE Zeta Jones was turned down as leading lady for Aspects Of Love — for being too SEXY.

Composer Andrew Lloyd Webber revealed Zeta, 35, auditioned in 1990.

She was hoping to play Rose Vibert — who would be rejected by leading man Alex Dillingham in the musical.

But director Sir Trevor Nunn felt Zeta was so beautiful no man would believe she could be rejected in real life.

He told Lord Webber: “The entire audience of red-blooded men will be saying: ‘Go on Alex, give her one’!”
