Catherine Zeta-Jones and Keanu Reeves have been linked to roles in 'Stompanato', a new biopic about the late gangster Johnny Stompanato.
Stompanato was the boyfriend of actress Lana Turner and was stabbed to death by the star's 14-year-old daughter Cheryl Crane in 1958.
Jurors at an inquest decided that's Stompanato's death was justifiable homicide because Crane had acted out of fear that her life and her mother's life were in danger during an argument between the couple. Prosecutors did not pursue charges.
The Hollywood Reporter says that 'Fatal Attraction' director Adrian Lyne is attached to direct the film.
