Zeta's small ad for niece's big success
Sep 2 2005
A-List star Catherine Zeta Jones congratulated her niece yesterday on notching up her own list of A stars in her GCSE exams, by taking out an advert in a local Welsh paper.
Swansea-born Zeta Jones joined forces with her husband Michael Douglas and children Dylan and Carys and took out the advert in a city daily.
The Oscar winner, who is known for her strong family ties, took out a traditional two inch by one inch ad.
The ad is headed: “Jenna Jones,” and simply: “Congratulations to our loving niece Jenna on passing your 12 GCSEs.”
It goes on to list her three A star, four As, four Bs and one C passes, and carries the name of all four family members at the end with a series of cross kisses.
Zeta Jones and her husband Michael Douglas are currently on a low-key holiday to Swansea where they are living in a £2million mansion they have had built in the nearby fishing village of Mumbles.
