Lynda is musical Wonder

FORMER Wonder Woman star Lynda Carter is joining the smash-hit West End musical Chicago.

The 1970s TV heroine will play jailer Mama Morton for eight weeks.

Lynda, 54 — an ex Miss USA — makes her debut at London’s Adelphi Theatre on September 26.

The US actress first found fame as comic book heroine Wonder Woman in 1975, wearing a skimpy costume and wielding a magic lasso.

She later battled drink problems but made a screen comeback as Pauline in the recent Dukes of Hazzard film.

She caused controversy by reportedly branding Catherine Zeta Jones, 35, and Sandra Bullock, 41, too old to play Wonder Woman in a new movie.
