Director Scott Hicks Movie Mostly Martha (2006)
News Genre : Drama Movie News    Comedy Movie News

I don't know why, but everytime I see a pic of this woman, I need a cold shower. But besides looking amazing, Catherine Zeta-Jones also is an incredibly good actress. And one of the next movies she will star is "Mostly Martha".

The film is an adaptation of the German movie, "Mostly Martha" (originally titled "Bella Martha", 2001), directed by Sandra Nettelbeck. Scott Hicks will direct this version from aCarol Fuchs' screenplay.

The original movie tells the story of Martha, the head chef at a chic restaurant, who has no time for anything, or anyone, else. Eventually, Martha's solitary life is shaken by a fateful accident that brings her sister's eight-year-old daughter, Lina, to her doorstep.

As Martha struggles to care for her headstrong niece, the restaurant hires a charming and carefree Italian chef named Mario. Suspicious of Mario's intentions, Martha slowly discovers that he has a special recipe for living - one that will touch her home and her heart.
