LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - Catherine Zeta-Jones, who returns to theaters next month in "The Legend of Zorro," is set to play a high-powered chef in the romantic comedy-drama "Mostly Martha."

The plot line follows the chef as her life changes when she becomes the guardian of her young niece. The Castle Rock/Warner Bros. project is based on the 2001 German feature "Bella Martha." Production is expected to begin in January.

It will be directed by Scott Hicks, best known as the director of "Shine."
