Turner Sneaks Zorro Clip on TBS
October 21, 2005
By Anthony Crupi

Turner will preview the opening six-and-a-half minute sequence of the new Columbia Pictures film The Legend of Zorro on TBS Movie Extra on Thursday, Oct. 27, a day before the film opens nationwide.

The sneak peek, which follows TBS' presentation of the first film in the swashbuckling series, The Mask of Zorro (8 p.m.), will also include a segment featuring interviews with stars Antonio Banderas and Catherine Zeta-Jones.

TBS viewers are being made aware of the preview through a number of promotional tune-in spots and on-air advertising. The clip will also be teased on AOL's Moviefone site beginning Monday, Oct. 24; it will stream on Moviefone for two weeks after it bows on TBS.

Financials were not disclosed.

AMC: Expanding the Reach of Magazines
Publishers attending this week's American Magazine Conference in steamy Puerto Rico were told by MPA president Nina Link that giant retailer Costco will be selling magazines in all its warehouses. But no timetable was announced. The reason being, say sources familiar with the situation, is that the cost of doing business with Costco may be prohibitive to publishers.
