CATHERINE ZETA-JONES wowed American TV viewers last night (22OCT05) when she ripped off her shimmering black gown during her introduction on satirical show SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE.
Wearing a sheer black body stocking underneath, the CHICAGO star drew gasps from the live studio audience as she showed off her stunning figure.
The sexy Welsh actress got the show underway with a campy dance number, called THEY CAN'T TAKE MY OSCAR AWAY, after explaining the fact that she was an Academy Award winner gave her the confidence to host the live TV show.
She then showed off the moves that first made her a star in London's West End by tap dancing across the stage with a troupe of hunky male dancers.
The movie star also boasted about how well she'd married in the song, explaining, "So, for the next hour and a half/I make a fool of myself without a single laugh/I dust myself off 'cos I must confess/I still go home with MICHAEL DOUGLAS."
Zeta-Jones also showed off her comedy skills on the sketch show when she appeared as fictitious, unwashed CNN war reporter Suzanne Carbonal, struggling to cope with lack of beauty supplies in Afghanistan.
She also played a crazed Italian hotel boss, English soul sensation JOSS STONE, a sexy French teacher, a Mexican Hollywood wannabe dating an ageing movie producer and a kinky bride, singing about her spanking sessions with her new husband at the altar.
