Mostly Martha, Partly Aaron
Eckhart joins comedy

Aaron Eckhart will be cooking up a storm with Catherine Zeta Jones in Mostly Martha. The remake of a 2001 German film sees Mrs Michael Douglas as a stuck up chef whose perfect life bubbles over into farce when her sister dies and bequeaths her a 10-year-old daughter.

In the film, directed by Shine's Scott Hicks, Eckhart will play an up and coming chef who shares a kitchen with Jones and slowly causes more than the pots to simmer. And that’s the last cookery pun…promise. Seriously any more would be way over-egging the pudding.

Olly Richards

I’m not sure I quite see Jones as a comedienne. She did some good hoofing in Chicago and showed glints of comedy talent, but she seems slightly too polished to be truly hilarious. That said, I understand that she recently hosted Saturday Night Live in the US and showed a previously unearthed talent with the funny, so I’ll give her the benefit of the doubt.
