DiCaprio and Bundchen Split

Hollywood heart-throb and The Aviator star Leonardo DiCaprio has split from his girlfriend Gisele Bundchen. The pair have enjoyed an on-off romance for three years - but the supermodel's manager has told a magazine in her native Brazil their relationship is over for good. She says, "Yes, they broke up." But she denies rumors Bundchen is already dating surfing superstar Kelly Slater: "Gisele is not the type of a woman who ends a new relationship and starts a new one right away." Bundchen most recently appeared in the comedy Taxi, and DiCaprio is set to be onscreen next in The Departed.

Hilton in Car Crash

Hotel heiress Paris Hilton escaped unscathed from a freak car crash in the early hours of on Wednesday morning. The reality TV star was leaving a Hollywood nightclub in a plush silver Bentley, when her vehicle collided with a heavy goods wagon. The incident was caught on camera by eager photographers; one image shows Hilton blowing a kiss towards helpful police officers as she fled the scene. It is not known how fast the star's car was traveling. Los Angeles cop Michael Lopez says, "They decided to leave the scene because the paparazzi was there." Lopez also confirmed no one was hurt in the smash.

Cash's Daughter Slams 'Walk the Line'

Johnny Cash's daughter Kathy is distraught after viewing new Cash biopic Walk The Line, because it portrays her mother as a "mad little psycho." Kathy praised Joaquin Phoenix and Reese Witherspoon's performances as her father and his second wife June Carter Cash, but insists the portrayal of her mother Vivian Liberto Distin was wholly inaccurate. She says, "My mom was basically a nonentity in the entire film except for the mad little psycho who hated his career. That's not true. She loved his career and was proud of him until he started taking drugs and stopped coming home." But Kathy's half-brother John, whose mother was June Carter Cash, insists he never intended to marginalize his father's first wife: "I'm compassionately understanding, (but) the point of the film is my parents' love affair."

OK! Takes Zeta-Jones Wedding Photos Battle to the Top

The ongoing court battle between rival magazines OK! and Hello! over ownership of Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones' wedding photographs is to be taken to the highest court in Britain. In May, Hello! magazine bosses won their appeal against last year's High Court judgment that ordered the glossy to pay OK! $1.9 million in damages for unauthorized pictures of the stars' 2000 wedding. The magazine's chiefs confessed they used the photos to spoil OK!'s exclusive coverage of the wedding, but argued "spoilers" are a common practice in the media industry. OK! magazine was ordered in May to repay more than $3.8 million worth of damages and costs it received from Hello! However, following a petition from OK! and the Hollywood couple, the case will now be heard at the House Of Lords in London. Last year, Douglas and Zeta-Jones were awarded $27,738 in damages from Hello! magazine, after a judge ruled the publication had breached the Traffic stars' rights of confidence.

Crowe for Hire

Fans of Hollywood superstar Russell Crowe can hire him to sing at their Christmas party - if they have a spare $900,000. The actor and keen musician will travel anywhere in the world with or without his band 30 Odd Foot Of Grunts for the right money. A representative for Crowe says the star is keen to perform over the festive season but warns his schedule is filling up fast: "His diary is a moving beast." Wealthy fans prepared to pay for the temperamental star would also have to fly Crowe to their venue location, provide five star hotel accommodation and cover his expenses.

Holmes Ignores Cruise Gossip

Katie Holmes refuses to be moved by tabloid rumors claiming her relationship with fiance Tom Cruise is a publicity stunt. The couple have been the focus of much gossip since they began dating earlier this year, and then became engaged. But the Batman Begins actress insists those close to her know it is genuine - and that's all that matters. She says, "It's a bit annoying, but I'm not worrying about things like that. I'm enjoying my time with Tom. It would be nice if people were happy for us, but our friends know how happy we are together, so why should I care about what rumors are floating out there in the press?"

Ledger House Desperation

Heath Ledger and Michelle Williams were so desperate to move into their new New York home before the actress gave birth to their daughter Matilda, they flew the seller first class all the way from Australia to sign the paperwork. The couple paid a reported $3.5 million for the brownstone on Brooklyn's fashionable Boerum Hill and were keen to rush through the buying process so they could be settled in time to welcome Matilda into the world on October 28. The deal was delayed because the American woman selling them the pad had moved to Australia, so Ledger paid for her to return and speed through the move, reports PageSix.com.

Pastore Plea Delayed

Former The Sopranos star Vincent Pastore must wait another two weeks before he can officially plead guilty for attempting to assault his ex-girlfriend Lisa Regina in April. The actor made a plea bargain with police, after the alleged incident, which will see him plead guilty, perform 10 days of community service and attend a counseling program for batterers. But a disagreement over what type of anger management course is suitable for the volatile actor, has delayed proceedings. Pastore was originally charged with two counts of assault, attempted assault and harassment. The actor will return to court on November 12.

Depp Defends Moss

Johnny Depp has slammed fashion bosses who dropped his former love Kate Moss, after pictures emerged of her snorting cocaine. The Charlie And The Chocolate Factory star is furious with executives at Chanel, Burberry and H&M, who all cancelled lucrative deals with the supermodel in the wake of the scandal, accusing them of victimizing the beauty. He says, "It was unbelievably unfair the way she was treated. She was dragged through the mud. She's not running for office and she ain't looking to be the next Messiah. I think Kate should live her life how she wants to. She's no dummy, man." And Depp admits he still has feelings for the British beauty: "She's a great girl and I care about her a great deal."

Madonna Protects Album

Madonna went to extraordinary lengths to protect her new album at a top secret media preview this week, by making sure the CD was destroyed after it was played. Confessions On A Dance Floor was played in full at a release party in Hollywood, Florida, on Tuesday night, before an audience of journalists, reviewers and record executives, ahead of its release next week. According to TV show The Insider, a CD was flown into the state's Fort Lauderdale airport under armed guard. It was then picked up by Madonna's brother Christopher Ciccone who handed it in person to DJ Tracy Young, who played the LP at the party at the Pangaea nightclub. The CD was reportedly destroyed after the party to make sure it didn't fall into the wrong hands.
