Zeta-Jones on her Oscar night win

Catherine Zeta-Jones had to re-watch the telecast of the 2003 Oscars (she won the Best Supporting Actress trophy) because the whole night was one big blur to her.

Six months after her win, the star had to make sure she wasn’t dreaming about the night she bagged a statuette for her role in the musical Chicago.

Zeta-Jones, who was heavily pregnant when she picked up the award, says, “It wasn’t until six months later that I was sitting at my computer and I looked up at the Oscar on the shelf and thought, ‘Oh my God!’

“I had to re-watch the telecast, because I couldn’t even remember what I’d just said. I just remember staring at my swelling ankles and thinking, ‘I wish I could knock back a bottle of champagne’.”
