Los Angeles: Hollywood is planning a new sequel to adventure flick Ocean's Eleven, with star George Clooney set to reprise his role as a charismatic thief in Ocean's Thirteen.

Producer Jerry Weintraub is in the early stages of plotting the third film in the series following 2004's Ocean's Twelve, along with Clooney and his movie production partner Steven Soderbergh, who directed the earlier films, Daily Variety said.

Ocean's Eleven (2001) was a megahit remake of a 1961 film of the same name starring Frank Sinatra and his "Rat Pack," which told the story of a Las Vegas casino heist.

The sequel, reteaming Clooney, Brad Pitt and Bernie Mac, and throwing Catherine Zeta-Jones into the mix.
