Singer-choreographer Shiamak Davar had the chance to meet Hollywood actor Michael Douglas. The ‘Basic Instinct’ actor walked up to the choreographer backstage and complimented him for his energetic performance at the World Economic Forum in Davos on Saturday night.
The high for Shiamak was that Michael Douglas orchestrated a telephonic call between him and his wife Catherine Zeta-Jones. Douglas was so overwhelmed by his performance that he immediately dialled his wife Catherine Zeta-Jones and said, “Speak to my friend and brilliant performer Shiamak.”
An ecstatic Shiamak told Jones, “I have been very inspired by your performance in ‘Chicago’. In fact, we often perform to your number ‘Roxy’ from ‘Chicago’ for my shows.”
At the summit, India put up a ‘Bollywood nite’ on Saturday where Shiamak and pop diva Usha Uthup shined.
