IANS

NEW YORK: Catherine Zeta-Jones is trying to convince Leonardo DiCaprio to reprise his role as Howard Hughes in her new film.

Contactmusic.com reports that Zeta Jones is going to star in the Lana Turner biopic titled "Stompanato" and the producers are trying to rope in DiCaprio to work in the film.

She says: "It would be awesome to get him to reprise the role, even for just a cameo, as he (DiCaprio) was so like him (Hughes)."

The film will re-tell the scandalous murder of thug and wannabe actor Johnny Stompanato, who was stabbed and killed by Turner's 14-year-old daughter.

The movie will also showcase the film star's numerous affairs including Howard Hughes. Keanu Reeves who will play Turner's abusive lover.
