Hollywood beauty Catherine Zeta-Jones had guests speechless at a restaurant in New York when she waited on their tables hand-and-foot in efforts to 'research' for her latest role in a movie, according to a published report.
The actress even went as far as to attempt to lend her hand in the kitchen of Manhattan's acclaimed 'Fiamma' restaurant to get ready for the remake of the German movie "Mostly Martha," in which she plays a superb chef who suddenly must become the guardian of her youthful niece.
A source informs 'People' magazine, "One night she did a little serving. A few people said to her, 'You look so much like Catherine Zeta-Jones.'"
"And she said, 'Oh, I get that all the time.'"
Surprisingly, her customers were clueless that she indeed was Catherine Zeta-Jones!
Michael White, her boss at the restaurant, adds, "She's been doing a lot in the kitchen -- sauteing and cutting."
"She's a great garnisher. Drizzling oil and balsamic on plates -- she does a nice job."
