MICHAEL DOUGLAS has revealed his thoughts on failed celebrity relationships as well as paying tribute to his Welsh wife.
On the day Jennifer Aniston revealed people's sympathy for her over ex- husband Brad Pitt's relationship with Angelina Jolie "made her skin crawl", the 61-year-old questioned the Pitt-Jolie romance. And he also pondered the short-lived marriages of Renee Zellweger and Julia Roberts to country singers Kenny Chesney and Lyle Lovett.
"I don't know about Brad Pitt leaving that beautiful woman to go hold orphans for Angelina," Douglas said. "I mean how long is that going to last?"
The UN "Messenger of Peace" paid tribute to Catherine Zeta-Jones. "You learn to respect something of value and nurture it and treat it well."
"I mean, don't ask me what happened with Renee Zellweger. I don't know how you get married for four months. And Julia with Lyle. There must be some incredible things you find out one night."
