Catherine Zeta Jones and Charlotte Church are among the top 100 most beautiful women of all time, a survey finds today.
The Oscar-winning actress ranks number seven in the chart's Top 10, which was topped by Breakfast at Tiffany's actress Audrey Hepburn, while the 20-year-old singer came 86th.
TV presenter Carol Vorderman (88th), model Sophie Dahl (65th), singer Kylie Minogue (48th) and Julie Christie (20th) also feature in the contingent with Welsh links.
The final list included 58 actresses, 11 models, nine TV presenters, eight singers, two princesses and a president's wife. Almost four out of 10 of the finalists were British, second only to America's 42%. However not a single politician featured.
Helen Johnston, editor of New Woman magazine, which conducted the poll, said, 'When it comes to the most beautiful women of all time, head-turning full-on glamour wins the day. The women who top this list all possess classic timeless beauty and they know how to show it off to best effect.
'Women are now turning to the high maintenance, polished look because it makes them feel fabulous and they know men love it, too.'
Models winning a mention include original supermodels Twiggy (24th) and Jean Shrimpton (27th) plus Kate Moss (11th), Claudia Schiffer (17th), Gisele (29th), Naomi Campbell (32nd), Elle McPherson (37th), Helena Christensen (43rd), Yasmin Le Bon (76th), Christy Turlington (81st) and Jerry Hall (84th).
All the classic screen beauties are in the Top 100 - including Liz Taylor (12th), Vivien Leigh (14th), Rita Hayworth (18th), Ingrid Bergman (19th) and Marlene Dietrich (30th).
However, some women in the Top 100 Most Beautiful also fall into the flirty girl-next-door beauty category - namely Jennifer Aniston (42nd), Felicity Kendal (58th) and TV presenter Melanie Sykes (85th).
