( EMAILWIRE.COM, December 01, 2006 ) Hollywood, California - Sunset Gower Studios hosted the Motion Picture and Television Fund's gala charity event on Saturday evening, November 18, headlining Catherine Zeta-Jones and Harry Connick, Jr. Other celebrities include a dazzling list of the glamorous and talented entertainment industry members in attendance, including Annette Bening and Warren Beatty, Dick

Van Dyke and Michelle Triola, Robert Wagner and Jill Saint John, Jill Goodacre, Bernadette Peters, Michael Douglas, Jeffrey and Marilyn Katzenberg, Christina Applegate, Jim Gianopoulos, Leonard Maltin, Tom Rothman, Jessica Harper, Tom Hanks, Rita Wilson, and Sid Ganis, among others.

The show was produced by Dan Jinks ("American Beauty") and Laurence Mark ("Dreamgirls") and directed by Dan Mojica ("Beauty and the Beast") with John Mauceri, returning as musical director.
Sponsors of this year's event include, Sunset Gower Studios, the Hollywood Reporter, Sentient Jet Membership, Henri Zimand and Zimand Entertainment.

Legendary Sunset Gower Studios has recently undergone an elaborate multi-million dollar upgrading, refurbishing and restoration of its twelve fully equipped sound stages, executive suites, back office and other studio facilities. It is also currently constructing a 96,000 square foot state-of-the-art six-story building on the lot to house Technicolor's extensive post-production facilities.

This year the second annual "A Fine Romance" gala celebrated the Motion Picture and Television Fund's 85th year anniversary as a major service organization promoting and caring for the well-being of California's entertainment community.

Chairman of this year's event was Jim Gianopulos, Motion Picture and Television Fund board member and chairman and CEO of Fox Film Entertainment, and his wife Ann.
