Approximated SPICE Models of Nonlinear Magnetic Circuits Based on Field Solution

The paper presents approximative models for the FLUXSET sensor and associated electronic circuit. Based on results of the numerical field analysis, the magnetic circuit parameters of the sensor are extracted. An approximative piece-wise magnetic characteristic (i, H) is proposed. Based on theoretical considerations a SPICE model for the FLUXSET sensor was established and simulated. It takes into account: the both field sources, magnetic nonlinearity and eddy currents in the core. The paper presents also an original and performant electronic circuit (POLYFEM) dedicated to process the FLUXSET output signal. Analysing the entire measurement chain, the sensibility and the measure range are evaluated.
